As the man sleeps people begin to slowly surround his shelter. As time passes more and more people come to see this man. They soon begin to talk about the man. Some of the observers know the man very well, others have just a slight knowledge of the man. They begin to speak of how they will miss their friend, and how they wish he didn't have to leave just yet; and others are happy to see him finally get the chance to see his father once again. It'd been a long time since the man had seen his father, and he was ecstatic to finally get to spend time with him once more.
The man would have been flattered to hear what his guests had to say about him, but at this point they didn't mean a thing to him. They continue to converse about how he had changed each one of their lives. Many of them boasted of the man's personality, others of his works, some of his love and a few spoke of his faith. Each one of them knew full well how much they would miss the man, but they all were proud to have known the man.
The man lived his whole life curious of this moment. However, not to know what others would say at this time, but rather what his father would say when he finally arrived. He wondered if would there be a party for him? Would his return be like that of the prodigal son? Would it just be him and his father? Would his father even recognize him after all time?
Would his father know what he had done while he was away. What would he say about it? When he had left his father trusted him with little, did the man do as his father wanted him to?
The man finally arrives at home. His father opens the gates of his mansion and allows his son to enter. He greets him with a hug, the man cannot move. He is filled with excitement, but at the same time overwhelmed with fear. He awaits his father's reaction...
What will he say when you return home?
