Christ and His Cross

So I've been thinking a lot, as well as spending a lot of time reading the Bible. I've come across a few verses that have just completely racked my brain lately.

1. 1. The passage where the title of my blog comes from. As well as a passage where I have been spending a lot of time reading over and over and contemplating. The name itself comes from verse 4, I've found myself spending a lot of time contemplating verse 7 though.
Psalm 57

2. The reason I started this blog over my livejournal:

"And when I came to you, brethren, I did not come with superiority of speech or of wisdom, proclaiming to you the testimony of God.

For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified."

1 Corinthians 2:1-2 (NASB)

So ti further put that verse into the perspective of this blog: I really wanted to have a blog where I write explicitly about Jesus Christ, faith, and how God is working in my life.
